Terms of Service | Meridian Flores Yacht Charter

**These Terms of Service govern your use of floresyachtcharter.com and any charter enquiry you send us. This site is a concierge booking channel for Meridian Flores; every yacht charter is operated by Komodo Luxury under its own charter contract. Using this site or contacting us means you accept the terms below, current as of 2026 and subject to change.**

Meridian Flores is a trade name operating floresyachtcharter.com. The website and its content are published by Juara Holding Group. Charter reservations are handled directly by the Komodo Luxury reservations team, an award-winning charter operator founded in 2015 in Labuan Bajo, Flores. Please read these terms alongside our Privacy Policy before you book.

Who do these terms apply to?

They apply to everyone who browses this website, submits a charter enquiry, or communicates with our reservations team through WhatsApp or email. If you are booking on behalf of a group, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for every guest in your party, and that you will share the relevant booking and safety information with them.

You must be at least 18 years old to make a booking. Charters carrying minors require a responsible adult on board for the full itinerary.

Is a website enquiry a confirmed booking?

No. An enquiry, quote request, or message is not a confirmed charter.

  • Prices shown on this site are indicative examples, quoted in USD, per boat, for private charter, and are subject to change without notice.
  • A quote becomes a booking only when the Komodo Luxury reservations team issues a written confirmation and you accept the applicable deposit terms.
  • All charters are subject to vessel availability at the time you confirm. Peak dates in July and August book out early; May-June and September-October shoulder dates fill quickly for popular yachts.

How do deposits, balances and payments work?

The specific figures below are typical framing and are confirmed in writing by the reservations team at the time of booking. The governing financial terms are those in the Komodo Luxury charter contract, not this web page.

Stage Typical framing (as of 2026) Notes
Deposit Paid to confirm and hold your dates Non-refundable in most cases; secures the vessel
Balance Due before embarkation Payment method and deadline set in your confirmation
Park & permit fees Often payable per person, per day Set by park authorities; see below
Extras Alcoholic drinks, private transfers, special requests Quoted separately if not in your inclusions

Currency note: example rates on this site are published in USD only. Any Indonesian rupiah figure you may see quoted elsewhere is an external estimate, not an official conversion, because no exchange date is fixed to these rates.

What is included, and what is not?

A fully-crewed private charter arranged through us typically includes the yacht, a professional captain and crew, a private chef, all meals and non-alcoholic beverages, fuel for the agreed itinerary, snorkelling equipment, and onboard water toys such as paddleboards, kayaks and inflatables (specific toys vary by vessel).

Not included, unless your written confirmation states otherwise:

  • Komodo National Park entry permits, dragon-viewing fees, and any dive or photography permits
  • Flights to and from Komodo Airport (LBJ) in Labuan Bajo
  • Travel insurance, alcoholic drinks, gratuities, and personal expenses
  • Any activity or excursion not named in your agreed itinerary

How are Komodo National Park fees handled?

Komodo National Park requires per-person entry permits, dragon-viewing fees, and in some cases dive or photography permits, paid at ranger stations on Rinca and Komodo islands. Pricing is set by park authorities and is subject to change. Exact current rupiah tariffs and the governing regulation numbers are not published in operator sources, so we cannot guarantee a fixed park-fee figure in advance. You should budget for a combined per-person, per-day cost covering park entry and ranger guiding, and confirm the current amount with the reservations team before you travel. If park authorities change fees between your booking and your sailing date, the current official rate applies.

What happens if weather forces a change?

Flores and Komodo National Park have a dry season roughly from May to August and a rainy season roughly from December to March, sometimes with thunderstorms. Sea and weather conditions can change quickly.

  • The captain has final authority on routing, anchorages and departure times, and may alter or shorten an itinerary for safety.
  • All charter vessels operating in Komodo National Park must meet strict safety standards, including life jackets, emergency communications and fire extinguishers.
  • A weather-related change to the itinerary is not, by itself, grounds for a refund. Where a site is unreachable, the crew will substitute a comparable alternative wherever possible.
  • Any weather-cancellation, force majeure or refund provision is governed by the Komodo Luxury charter contract you accept at booking.

How do cancellations and changes work?

Cancellation charges, rescheduling options and refund eligibility are set out in the Komodo Luxury charter contract, not on this page, and depend on how far ahead you cancel and the vessel booked. In general, deposits secure the vessel and are treated as non-refundable, and cancellations closer to departure attract higher charges. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical care and evacuation. Request the exact cancellation schedule for your vessel before you pay.

What are the limits of our liability?

We want to be clear and honest about our role.

  1. Meridian Flores operates this website as a booking and concierge channel. The charter itself is delivered by Komodo Luxury as the operator, under its charter contract.
  2. We are not a licensed financial, legal, tax or investment adviser. Nothing on this site is professional advice, and figures such as marina growth or frontier-itinerary developments for 2027 and beyond are general outlook, not a promise.
  3. We make no guaranteed outcomes: wildlife sightings (including Komodo dragons and manta rays), weather, sea conditions and dive visibility cannot be promised.
  4. To the fullest extent permitted by Indonesian law, our liability for the website and enquiry service is limited, and liability for the charter itself sits with the operator under its contract and applicable maritime and consumer protection rules.

How is my personal data handled?

When you contact us, we process your data to prepare quotes and pass your booking to the Komodo Luxury reservations team. We handle personal data in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (Undang-Undang No. 27 Tahun 2022, “UU PDP”). For visitors in the EU and UK, we also respect GDPR-style rights, including access, correction, deletion and objection. We collect only what we need to answer your enquiry and arrange your charter, and we do not sell your data. Full detail lives in our Privacy Policy.

Which law governs these terms?

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Charter services are subject to Indonesian maritime, tourism and consumer regulations, and to the Komodo Luxury charter contract. If any clause here conflicts with your signed charter contract, the charter contract prevails for operational matters.
